Infrequently Asked Questions

What’s one thing you love about yourself? Have you always?

I love my positivity and out-of-the-box approaches to challenges. I haven’t always appreciated that about myself because being different or thinking differently can make those who are more comfortable following the mainstream uncomfortable. Over the years, I have grown more comfortable with being uncomfortable and settled in being authentically me.

Do you think people can really change?

Yes, but change comes from within first after self-reflection, dismantling deficit approaches to change, and last, moving past the fear of change or progress.
